CLASS OF 58 REUNION WEEKEND - JUNE 6-8, 2008

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A sign in Sutter Oval welcomes all alumni for the reunion as Walt Hartung starts his treck back to 1958. This is where the reunion began. Let's take a closer look as Wagner welcomed the alumni and in particular the Golden Seahawks (Class of 58) for reunion weekend, June 2008.

Here are some of the many pictures taken. For the complete set, please check out facebook
and our Shutterfly site.

The Class of 58 gathered in the President's office to sit at his desk, sample refreshments, discuss the old days, gaze out the windows onto the beautiful vistas of Brooklyn and the Veranzo-Narrows Bridge. Picture taking, however, was the main activity.

Al & Sue Kamens are seen below.

Reunion weekend came and went, almost as fast as those bygone years on Grymes Hill.

On a beautiful, sunny Friday afternoon out on the lawn, Bill & Lorraine Lowen, Walt Hartung, Milt Keen, and Betsy Ebers Press enjoy a relaxing moment with Vanessa Gallo.

Wagner College presented each Class of 58 member attending a beautiful plaque at the Alumni luncheon.

Here we are at Trautmann Square, exactly 7:15pm, just before the Roaring 20s Dinner Dance. Some of us looked as if we had just stepped out of the 1920s, while others look somewhat more contemporary.

Below are Dorothy Chanin, Wayne Leese, Phyllis Ernske Albertson, Al Kamens, Joan Hodge Ward, Carole Grele DeRuiter, and Janet Buccola Leonard.

Below are Anette Cerillo Natale, Pete Anderson, Betsy Ebers Press, Paul West, Ruth Lopez Anderson, and Al Wagner.

Below is a second look at Al Wagner, along with Lonnie West (old#11), Walt Hartung, Milt Keen, Bill Lowen, and Bob Gritman in the back row; up front are Sue Hayes Taylor and Dottie Rodemann Sickler-Coy.

PICS FROM THE 50S

Do you recognize this dude? David Kovach is his name.
I don't think he's talking to his mother.

Our library in the attic of Main Building, we spent many an hour there studying and socializing. Anyone recognize these alumni from the past? Center, rear, Andy Papanaum '59, Cara Swartzkopf at left, and Jerry Nedelka '59 right rear.
